Political views.

I am a young man. At age eighteen I should be independent, mature, responsible, etc., etc., ETC. Though I am eighteen, I feel as if I'm not any of these things. I'm not even close to having any of these qualities. With that being said, I also feel as if I'm not suitable to vote, or get involved with politics in general. Not entirely due to the fact that I lack these qualities, but because...well I HATE politics. It's not like I don't understand it. I understand it PERFECTLY. I just honestly believe:
1. Mostly, mostly all politicians are liars. They talk a good game but often fail to practice what they preach.
2. No one is ever right. They can never agree to disagree (but I guess that's part of what makes us human).
3. .....It just doesn't interest me.
People my age and younger ARE the future. We'll be running the country. I agree that we need to be more conscious of politics and what is going on around us. But as for me, that will NOT happen soon. You want my opinion on politics? You got 'em.
