I made an artist statement and within that statement I disclosed my Mission...Apparently "mission" does not sound "artsy" enough (whatever the hell that means).
I just want to say:
Every artist should have a goal (whether they're "artsy" or not) they are trying to reach. I am an artist that happens to have a mission. I am not a militant person but I do take my mission seriously because it is something that I have to do. So the word may not sound "artsy" (still confused as to what that means), but its a strong word that conveys my passions as an artist.
Passions. Now is that "artsy" enough for you?
So for those art students that judge me, dislike me, or do not socialize with me because I am not "artsy": Fuck you all.
I have better things to do than please you "artsy" people. I'm doing this for me.
