It may not affect you in any way, shape, or form, but it compels me to question whether I should let the words "nigger" or "nigga" provoke me...or should I continue to read it and go about my normal routine (as I always do) unfazed. It doesn't invoke hostility in me or cause me to feel belittled. It's just confusing. Last time I checked, nothing was comical about generalizations of various races. So am I missing a punchline that racists seem to get?...Or has my mind reached an advanced level that the racists/ignorant simply cannot attain? I'd like to think so.
